The Finance Manager Role

We are looking for an all round Finance Manager. You are responsible for all workflows related to tax, legal and finance. You support the global Finance team and local Partner group to ensure smooth business operations.

Our ideal Finance Manager is a strategic and analytical thinker who takes proactive ownership, thrives on optimizing processes, and demonstrates unwavering diligence. In this role, you will oversee Antler's Nordic operating companies and investment funds in together with the Nordic Finance Associate. You will also support portfolio startups throughout their journey — from incorporation and business setup to subsequent funding rounds.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day financial tasks, accounting, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, tax, and payroll.
• Oversee quality fund valuations, managing fund accounting and coordinating with external fund administrators.
• Work with other fund activities, for example fund compliance, KYC/AML, capital calls and account statements.
• Monthly reporting and follow up with Local Partners, Group Finance and group CFO with analysis of performance KPIs
• Work closely with auditors and manage the annual closing process for the Nordic entities, including yearly financial statements and tax reporting.
• Ensure timely external reporting to investors, governmental regulatory bodies, tax authorities, auditors, corporate partners and other relevant third parties
• Other ad hoc projects as and when required

Requirements

• 6 to 10 years of work experience in a related field such as finance or business management.
• Demonstrated experience in an entrepreneurial environment and experience in taking ownership of challenging tasks, working with tight deadlines and ambiguity
• Experience in venture capital, investments, portfolio valuations or legal agreements are desirable.
• Detail-oriented and process-focused with strong quantitative analysis skills
• Highly organised and able to structure and execute multiple processes simultaneously
• Proactive and positive personality with excellent communication skills
