We are now looking for a finance professional to join our highly integrated finance team. At Arex, finance is not a back-office function; it is a core part of our business, working closely with colleagues across all departments and countries. You will be part of a high-paced, professional, and collaborative environment where your contributions truly matter.

Job description

We are looking for a finance professional to join our team at our headquarters in Stockholm.

In this role, you will be an integral part of the Arex finance team, managing day-to-day accounting operations and performing regular reconciliations. You will handle payroll-related postings and play an active role in both monthly and annual closing processes.

Your responsibilities will also include supporting budget monitoring and conducting cost analysis for various projects, as well as collaborating closely with project managers to provide essential administrative and financial support.

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in financial systems and a passion for the development of automation and AI solutions within finance. This position offers a mix of operational and strategic responsibilities, providing valuable exposure to all aspects of the finance function within a dynamic organization.

Tasks and responsibilities include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations
• Handle payroll-related postings and actively participate in monthly and annual closings
• Support budget monitoring and conduct cost analysis for projects
• Collaborate closely with project managers, providing essential administrative and financial support
• Drive improvements in financial systems

Qualifications and skills

• Academic degree in finance or administration
• Experience from accounting K2/K3 standards
• Strong communication skills
• Good accuracy and attention to detail
• Oral and written proficiency in Swedish and English
• A genuine interest in automation and AI solutions

Considered an advantage:

• Experience from an international environment, preferably experience from Swiss accounting and payroll
• Experience working with
• Experience in financial reporting and accounting IFRS standards
