, we've raised ~€15M to date and built a fast-moving team of 30+. We're now looking for a Financial Controller to strengthen our team and help us scale our operations.

Why This Role Matters

As Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring that Mimo's financial processes and reporting are world-class as we grow. You'll take ownership of our group financials and work closely with external accountants and internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance, as well as delivering insights to management.

This role is perfect for someone who combines a strong accounting background with a genuine interest in business and scaling an international tech company.

What You'll Do

  • Own and manage all day-to-day financial operations across Mimo's Swedish and UK entities, including accounting, reporting & payroll, in collaboration with our external accounting firms
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate billing, cost allocation, and payment approvals.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across entities.
  • Lead preparation and review of annual reports, audits, and statutory filings in collaboration with our external accounting firms and auditor
  • Consolidate and analyze financial results, providing insights and cost control adherence to management.
  • Continuously refine internal processes and financial controls to support Mimo's international scale-up.

Who You Are

You're analytical, structured, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy combining technical accounting skills with broader business understanding and want to grow your career in an international fintech setting.

You likely have:

  • A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting or audit, ideally with exposure to international entities.
  • Solid understanding of monthly closing, reporting, and consolidation in a group or larger company.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to improve financial processes.
  • Fluent English & Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Strong experience with Excel or Google Sheets.
  • A genuine interest in working in a fast-changing, global environment.
  • (Bonus) Experience working with UK subsidiaries or entities.
