Lead the digital transformation of one of Europe's fastest-growing dental care groups.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

Oral Care is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the group-wide digital transformation. The company is moving from a historically local, on-premise IT environment to a modern, cloud-based, multi-country platform — and you will be responsible for shaping and driving this transition. 

This role combines strategic ownership with hands-on leadership. You will define the future Group IT architecture, strengthen cybersecurity, establish a unified BI and data infrastructure, and coordinate a network of external partners across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and the Netherlands. 

You will work closely with the CFO and CEO and operate with clear mandate in a dynamic, Private Equity-backed environment. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead the transition to a fully cloud-based IT environment (Azure, O365)
  • Establish a modern cybersecurity and data protection framework
  • Build a scalable BI and data infrastructure supporting reporting and operational decision-making
  • Coordinate external IT partners across several countries
  • Contribute to product and platform development from an IT perspective
  • Ensure effective governance, documentation, and technology standards
  • Partner closely with business leadership to align IT with operational and strategic needs

THE TEAM 

You will lead a small team of IT professionals and collaborate extensively with external partners in all operating countries. The Group headquarters is located in Stockholm/Globen and consists of 15 employees across finance, HR, legal, and business support. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Must-have 

  • Experience from
    Private Equity-backed
    or
    scale-up / VC-backed
    companies
  • Proven track record in
    cloud transformation
    (Azure, O365)
  • Strong grounding in
    cybersecurity
  • Experience building or implementing
    BI / data infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to manage external IT vendors and partners
  • Strong change management and communication skills

Nice-to-have 

  • Experience in digital product development or platform-related projects
  • Knowledge of servers, hardware, or on-prem environments
  • Understanding of regulatory conditions in healthcare or dental care
