The role

A unique position to work on live transactions and gain first-hand M&A experience while contributing positively towards improved energy efficiency and sustainability. In the position, you will be a member of our Corporate Development and M&A team and work closely to support the full team as well as our CFO. Main responsibility will be to collect and analyse data, support in M&A and due diligence processes as well as other general corporate development analyses.

Work on strategically important topics together with a team bringing diverse experience from leading professional services firms (such as management consulting, transaction services, investment banking, private equity).

Preferably, you start with a 3-6 months full-time internship and thereafter shift to working 1-2 days depending on university schedule with flexibility during exam periods. There is opportunity for a full-time internship, especially in the summer. Our office is located in Mörby Centrum, Danderyd.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Support M&A along lifecycle: Sourcing, evaluation, due diligence/ transaction
• Craft value creation plans and manage synergy realization post-acquisition
• Support the executive management team in analyses, decision making and preparation of key meeting materials, e.g., towards the board, owners, or as part of exit preparation
• Help drive strategic group-wide value creation projects such as growth and margin improvement programs

Your work

Your work will directly influence Nordic Climate Group´s acquisition pipeline and growth journey. You will:

• Collect data and conduct analyses across a range of topics, but primarily M&A-related
• Researching and evaluating potential acquisitions, updating financials and ensuring our pipeline is up to date
• Prepare presentation materials and learn to communicate effectively to different audiences
• Work with diverse teams and people throughout our organization

What we're after

• Strong academic track record, ideally with 1-2 years until graduation in a relevant field (e.g., finance, business, industrial engineering, or similar)
• Genuine interest and understanding of business, finance and investing
• Some previous experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint), but most importantly eager to learn
• We value entrepreneurial drive, curiosity and a collaborative mindset
