Business Analyst

Inter IKEA Group brings together three areas: Retail Concept, Range and Supply. Together we work constantly to improve the IKEA home furnishing offer and make it more accessible for the many people. You will be part of IKEA Supply and the Supply Chain Development organization. IKEA Supply is responsible for securing that the product offer is produced and delivered to our customers. We lead the supply agenda across many functions and work together with all business areas, different business units, but also retail markets to secure customer availability in all markets and sales channels at lowest total cost.

Supply Chain Development (SCD) is one of the business units at IKEA Supply and we are on an exciting journey By gathering the end-to-end supply chain development and innovation agenda into one organization, embedding management and development of processes and digital products into the business, we will meet the future with the right competences and business capabilities. By this we will also create the preconditions to a world class supply chain that enable IKEA to efficiently respond to the ever-changing customer needs. 

We are looking for a Business Analyst Logistics & Fulfilment within Supply Chain Development Execution

The SCD function includes four development areas: Procurement, Planning, Logistics & Fulfilment, and Intralogistics. Additionally, SCD has three assignments to lead and keep together the overarching development in the field of Digital technology, Development & Innovation Networks around Logistics & Fulfilment, and Business Process Management "End to end goods flow". Three support functions will be key to support the whole organization: People & Culture, Communication and Business Navigation. Our mission is to design & secure the preconditions for a world class supply chain, run and improve everyday solutions, keep together, and optimize the development and innovation agenda.

Capability Development Area Logistics and Fulfillment

Our team aims to enhance logistics and fulfilment, ensuring a smooth and cost-effective supply chain that complies with regulations in today's omnichannel environment. We collaborate to streamline processes, delivering digital and non-digital products benefiting IKEA franchisees, supporting expansion in the area of supply for an affordable and sustainable customer experience. 

As Business Analyst within Capability Area Logistics and Fulfillment, you will be part of a digital product team where Agile principles lay as a foundation for how we do our development.  As Business Analyst you must understand our business processes and capabilities and bring our value creation to the digital product team through requirement management. We develop our business through processes, data, people and technology. All these aspects need to be considered in an End-to-End context where you protect the integrity of the digital product from a functional aspect.

You will work with development of digital products in Logistics and Fulfilment but reporting to a Competence Development Hub.

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Identifying and explore potential improvements: to elicit, analyze, challenge and document all business needs
• Assuring quality and successful implementation of stakeholder needs and business requirements through clear Acceptance Criteria's
• Supporting architects in creation of business blueprint and managing dependencies relating to processes, data, people and technology
• Be part of the Business Analyst community of practice to improve but also ensure commonality in ways of working
• Be an ambassador of Agile principles and help the digital product team with continues learning and improvements

Are you our next Business Analyst? We are looking for a candidate to strengthen the business competence in Capability Area Logistics and Fulfillment. You have good business knowledge related to logistics or transport and its surrounding business context is highly beneficial. We are looking for a person with excellent analytical skills, very good listening and communication skills, you can describe complex information in a structured way. You see the big picture and can work with it and in small details.

More specifically, we wish that you have:

• Knowledge and experience from relevant business context and good understanding of business needs
• Understanding of business analysis and modelling, requirements management process.
• Ability to collaborate with many stakeholders and facilitate workshops related to business needs
• Ability to connect and see dependencies from a capability perspective towards business processes
• An ability to elicit, find patterns, and see new opportunities and possibilities in an analytical and very structured manner
• Ability to lead with a business mind-set, challenge stakeholders and determine what is relevant
• An ability to address challenges creatively and pragmatically
• A quality focus and interest in solution management activities
• Basic knowledge and or interest to learn different delivery methods and software lifecycle management
• Understanding or interest to learn test methods and tools with focus on acceptance testing.
