Technical IAM Consultant – Operational Support

Purpose of Engagement:

To provide daily operational support for Identity and Access Management (IAM), focusing on incident resolution, service requests, and change management activities. The consultant will ensure secure and efficient access control aligned with least privilege principles, leveraging the organization's IAM solutions.

Scope of Work:

  • Handle IAM-related incidents and service requests in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Perform technical troubleshooting and resolution of identity-related issues across hybrid environments (on-premises AD and cloud).

  • Support change management activities related to IAM configurations, policies, and integrations.

  • Maintain and optimize Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and Access Review policies in Microsoft Entra.

  • Optimize the use of Microsoft Defender for Identity, including support for threat investigations and remediation.

  • Identify and mitigate access risks, focusing on over-privileged accounts and enforcing least privilege principles.

  • Ensure operational procedures are documented and up to date, contributing to continuous improvement of IAM services.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Entra (IdP, MFA, Conditional Access, Identity Governance), management and optimization of apps including review correct app access).

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Identity, including sensor management and threat analytics.

  • Solid understanding of access risk.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on operational excellence.

Engagement Type:

Full-time, based in Stockholm, with hybrid work possibility.
