Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced
IAM Architect
with strong expertise in Microsoft Identity & Access Management. This role is responsible for defining, designing, and governing IAM architecture across the enterprise, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant identity solutions aligned with business and security strategy.

The ideal candidate will have deep architectural experience across Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, identity governance, authentication/authorization models, access lifecycle management, and modern security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive enterprise-level
    IAM architecture, roadmaps, and standards
  • Lead design and implementation of IAM solutions across Microsoft Identity Stack (Azure AD / Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, SSO, PIM, IGA tools)
  • Collaborate with security, engineering, and application teams to ensure consistent IAM governance
  • Assess existing IAM landscape and recommend improvements for scalability, resilience, and compliance
  • Establish best practices around identity lifecycle, access provisioning, zero trust, and least-privilege security
  • Review and validate solution designs from technical and security perspectives
  • Support integration of applications and services into IAM frameworks (SSO, federation, SCIM, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect)
  • Provide architectural guidance for authentication, authorization, privilege management, and identity assurance
  • Participate in security reviews, audits, and compliance activities (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
  • Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into IAM solutions

Essential Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management

Strong architecture experience across Microsoft IAM technologies:

  • Azure AD / Entra ID
  • MFA, Conditional Access
  • SSO / Federation (SAML, OAuth, OIDC)
  • PIM (Privileged Identity Management)
  • Identity Governance tools (SailPoint, Saviynt, or Microsoft IGA)
  • Deep understanding of Zero Trust principles
  • Experience integrating applications into enterprise IAM frameworks
  • Strong understanding of security standards and access control models
  • Ability to work with stakeholders, engineering, compliance, and security teams
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Swedish is a plus
