What You Will Do
In this role, you will drive the development of our Portables Business in Scandinavia. You will be selling high quality fire extinguishers produced in Germany through distribution networks, along with other uniquely positioned solutions from Johnson Controls.

This position is homebased, with approximately 40% of your work performed from your home. In addition, approximately 60% of your time will be spent travelling, primarily within Sweden and Scandinavia. Occasionally travelling to our production site in Germany will also be required. You will be officially assigned to our Gothenburg – Mölndal, Sweden office.

You will report to our Director of Product Sales Portables, who is based in Germany. Regular communication with team members across different geographical locations is an essential part of this role.

How You Will Do It

  • Identify prospects through innovative lead-generating techniques.
  • Develop and expand existing and new business by maintaining strong relationships with multiple customer departments and key stakeholders.
  • Grow key vertical markets.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of industry best practices and standards.
  • Implement business plans and initiatives in collaboration with other business functions.
  • Follow up on relevant projects and leads.
  • Conduct relevant market analyses.
  • Achieve and surpass agreed sales and margin targets.

Required
What we look for:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales.
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in commercial functions.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand and meet customer needs.
  • High sensitivity towards customers to influence and interact effectively.
  • Excellent commercial skills coupled with strong technical knowledge of fire protection.
  • Experience with ERP/Business Software (SAP, , Power BI).
  • Fluency in English and Swedish (or another Nordic language), both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in MS Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the designated area.

Preferred

  • Experience in the fire suppression business.
  • Technical degree.
  • Creative, proactive, and open-minded approach.
  • Location flexibility within Sweden, with preference for candidates residing near Gothenburg.
