Production Planner

For our client we are looking or a Production Planner.

About:

The Supply Chain department is responsible for Supply Network Planning, Production Planning, Raw Material planning/buying and Distribution activities. The Production Planner is responsible for planning of the production orders for all production lines in line with demand and capacity.

• E2E Supply Chain planning understanding
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP)
• Fluently in Swedish and English in both speaking and writing.

Key responsibilities:

• Create production plan for all production lines in accordance with demand (Supply Plan), available capacity and pre-set volume targets.
• Ensure production plans are reflected and maintained in SAP and OMP.
• Create and maintain production orders in SAP according to production plans.
• Create and maintain full year view production plan versus capacity, including scenario planning when required.
• Initiate capacity adjustment requests when required.
• Collaborate and align with Planning, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Quality, Finance, Project leads on weekly basis regarding latest production plans. Communicate production plans and align on changes to these plans.
• Monitor production output, leadtimes, inventory levels and inform/escalate in case of deviations or potential service impact.
• Define and maintain material master data for SKU's for all production steps, including routing, BOM and production planning parameters, with input from data owners. Set-up SKU's in SAP.
• Support creation of volume and inventory plan for annual budget process and LBE cycles (March Update, June Update and November Update), align with stakeholders.
• Support with inputs for Supply Review and Supply S&OP meetings when required.
• Reports reserves list semi-finished materials to Finance on monthly basis
• Have understanding and/or participate in NPI-/change control projects and reflect project outcome in production plans.
• Initiate improvements to optimize planning process, inventory levels and/or costs.
• Manage Non-Conformance items in EtQ for the Supply Chain department, related to production planning, direct material planning or distribution.
• SAP super user production planning.
• Act as back-up for Buyer/Planner Direct Materials or Supply Network Planner when required.
• Adherence to local and global SOPs.

Must have:

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of work experience in production planning, preferably in Medical/Pharmaceutical Industry.
• Experience with ERP (SAP).
• Fluency in Swedish and English
• Microsoft Office
