We are currently looking for a committed and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our client, a well-established global actor within the pharmaceutical/medtech industry. This is a full-time consulting assignment for one year, based onsite in Uppsala.

You will be part of the Supply Chain organization, supporting Supply Network Planning, Production Planning, Raw Material Planning/Buying, and Distribution. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing production plans for all manufacturing lines in alignment with demand, capacity, and business targets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain production plans and production orders in SAP/OMP.
  • Align production plans with demand, capacity, and volume targets.
  • Monitor production performance, lead times, and inventory levels; escalate risks.
  • Maintain full-year production outlook and perform scenario planning.
  • Coordinate weekly with Manufacturing, Warehouse, Quality, Finance, and Planning teams.
  • Maintain SKU master data (routing, BOM, planning parameters).
  • Support budget cycles, LBE updates, and S&OP/Supply Review preparations.
  • Report monthly semi-finished material reserves to Finance.
  • Participate in NPI/change control projects and update plans accordingly.
  • Drive improvements in planning processes, inventory, and cost efficiency.
  • Manage Non-Conformance items related to planning or materials.
  • Act as SAP super user and provide backup support to related planning roles.
  • Follow global and local SOPs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of production planning experience, preferably in pharma/medtech.
  • Strong SAP and ERP system skills.
  • Structured, analytical, communicative, and collaborative.
  • Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.
