The Supply Chain Planning Manager is leading the PLAN department within Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision, Uppsala including Supply Network Planning, Production Planning, Raw Material planning/buying and Distribution coordination for outbound shipments, import and export.

The Manager Supply Chain is a member of the Uppsala Leadership Team.

Lead Johnson & Johnson MedTech Vision Uppsala Supply Chain Planning team and associated planning activities such as:

• Lead and handle JJSV Uppsala PLAN department.
• Lead OVD E2E supply network planning within JJSV.
• Facilitate local and global Supply S&OP processes for Uppsala site, provide direction to demand, supply, capacity, NPI (new product introduction) and inventory.
• Lead STEM (short term issue management) process for JJSV Uppsala, identify issues for partner concern within reliability process.
• Identify and handle continuous improvement opportunities for planning & scheduling business processes, E2E supply chain optimization, inventory optimization and site/network cost reduction.
• Lead E2E planning of new product launches and product transfers to/from other manufacturing sites
• Maintain relationships, and benchmark with sister sites to continually look for planning improvement opportunities
• Lead effort and provide directions on achieving continuous product availability E2E while optimizing supply chain inventory levels.
• Establish and handle yearly goals and metrics for PLAN department
• Lead efforts with E2E supply chain to ensure 99% to-market delivery performance
• Lead setting inventory target and optimizing inventory levels at site and at distribution centers, while minimizing inventory cost such as excess and obsolete.
• Lead effort in achieving site-wide planning/manufacturing goals for adherence to supply plans, production schedules, and manufacturing turn-around time.
• Lead process to supervise and prioritize materials and lots throughout the supply chain, coordinating efforts to prioritize production and supply chain activities
• Lead raw material, WIP and finished goods inventory
• Create and run cost center budget
• Adhere to local and global SOPs.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• A validated ability in any of the following fields: production planning, inventory management, supply network planning, demand management, capacity planning and/or Supply Chain
• Experience in Supply Chain management, related to production activities with a technical, scientific, pharmaceutical/medical device background, or equivalent.
• Must be fluent in English (read, write and speak)
• Must be a self-starting, self-motivated, leader with highly developed interpersonal skills, initiative and Innovation to generate and implement improvements
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, experience in presenting complex data to all levels of leadership
• Must have excellent organizational skills, problem solving and conflict resolution, and the ability to develop win/win relationships with other teams and organizations
• Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint is required
• Must demonstrate insights into End-to-End supply chain characteristics and understanding of financial processes, such as business scenario development, P&L calculation and COGS
• Must be able to work with sophisticated planning tools & have experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred)
• Must poses an organized, analytical approach to problem solving with a track record of optimizing flow "pull of the customer", cost management, process optimization and project delivery
• Management (DM), master scheduling (MPS), capacity planning (CRP), material planning (MRP) & Inventory control is desirable
• Related professional certifications (e.g., APICS, ISM, Process Perfection/Six Sigma, FPX) are desirable
• Must demonstrate the ability to develop, coach and direct a team in the execution, strategic and realization of departmental & company goals
  Must demonstrate the ability to build strong collaborative teams and relationships, leading cross functional / virtual teams where required.
