AI & Automation Specialist

At Tacton, we're on a journey to rethink how we work – and we're now looking for our very first AI & Automation Specialist to help us make it happen.

In this brand-new role, you'll be advising the team around possibilities with AI, building and implementing AI agents, writing code using coding agents, and automate using the tools of tomorrow. In essence, your main scope will be to make work more efficient for everyone at Tacton. This isn't a traditional developer job – it's a place for curious minds who want to turn bold ideas into real impact.

You'll report to Carsten Lentz, Global Sr. VP of Sales Engineering, and join our 30-person Commercial team (Sales, Sales Engineering and Marketing). Most of your work will support them directly — but you'll also get to collaborate with many others across Tacton, from IT, R&D and Services.

What You'll Do

• Dive into processes and find opportunities for AI and automation improvements
• Create quick prototypes and MVPs to show the art of the possible
• Build process automations using tools like Power Automate and n8n
• Vibe Code impactful applications using the newest agentic coding frameworks
• Create tangible value with GPTs and embed them into daily work
• Help the Commercial team adopt new AI tools and ways of working
• Share what you build — so others can further build on your ideas
• Be a change agent for all the cool things you and the team will create

What We're Looking For
You don't need to know everything – but you should love exploring, learning, and trying new things.

• 2–4 years of experience in AI development and automation
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or similar
• Skills in Python (bonus points for JavaScript)
• Hands-on experience with building GPTs and or AI agents
• Creative thinker who can turn complex tech concepts into a simple solutions
• Fundamental understanding and usage of Prompting, RAG, LLM

Nice-to-have (but Not Must-have)

• Cloud AI (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI)
• SQL/database knowledge
• RPA experience (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere)

Employment:
Fulltime, 12 months contract. This role is based in our Stockholm office, and we follow a hybrid model with three in-office days per week.
