AI Automation Specialist

We're seeking an AI Automation Specialist to join our Stockholm-based AI team. Your mission is dual: accelerate business-process automation internally at Monterro (supporting transaction and operations teams) and help our portfolio companies implement AI-driven automation across finance, sales, marketing, customer support, and other functions.

Unlike classic RPA roles, this position emphasizes AI-first automation, combining large-language-model capabilities with low-code/no-code workflow tools and traditional RPA. You'll work both hands-on and as an enabler, building capabilities in portfolio companies. Engagements are short, high-impact, and designed so that teams retain full ownership of the automations after hand-off.

Your mission:

• Internal
  automation at Monterro
  : Automate workflows in deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio reporting. Build scalable automation infrastructure for internal teams.
• Portfolio company support:
  Lead discovery workshops, identify and prioritise automation use cases. Build AI-powered flows in tools like Hubspot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and BI platforms. Design automations in finance, sales, marketing, customer support and operations.
• Hands-on tech and delivery:
  Work with tools like Power Automate, n8n, Make, Zapier, LangChain, etc. Integrate APIs, webhooks and databases for clean and scalable data flows. Build MVPs and PoCs fast, and iterate based on real-world feedback.
• Enablement
  & knowledge transfer:
  Package automations with docs, dashboards, and monitoring. Lead trainings, create playbooks, and build our shared Monterro automation toolbox.

You will bring:

• 5+ years designing and deploying business-process automation or workflow tools
• Strong technical grounding: APIs, automation platforms, AI integration
• Experience with multiple RPA/Workflow tools (Power Automate, UiPath, Make, etc.)
• Proven track record of taking automation projects from idea to implementation
• Fluent in Swedish and English
