Are you a practical and curious scientist eager to build experience in a modern biotech environment? We are looking for a Junior Scientist to join an R&D team focused on developing and optimizing advanced immunoassays for next-generation analytical products.
The Role

This is a hands-on laboratory role where you'll design and execute experiments, analyze data, and collaborate closely with other scientists in an agile, cross-functional setting. The position is offered as a 6-month consultancy assignment through SallyQ with god potential for extension or transition into permanent employment with the customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, perform, and analyze laboratory experiments to develop and optimize immunoassays.
  • Work with flow cytometry (FACS), ELISA, cell-based assays, and bead-based multiplex assays.
  • Conjugate antibodies, evaluate assay sensitivity and precision, and troubleshoot experimental workflows.
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and share progress at regular project meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of protocols, data, and results.
  • Contribute to maintaining a well-functioning, safe, and organized laboratory environment.

Your Profile
This is a junior position and we are looking for somenone at MSc level with hands-one lab experience from a summer job, internship or similar. As a person you are structured, detail-oriented, and reliable. You enjoy working hands-on in the lab, take ownership of your work, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

  • University degree in Engineering within Biotechnology or Molecular Biotechnology. A background in Molecular Biology or a related field is also suitable.
  • Practical experience with flow cytometry is required.
  • Experience with immunoassays, ELISA, or cell-based assays is highly meritorious.
  • Familiarity with bead-based multiplex assays and antibody conjugation is a strong advantage.
  • Technical skills: Comfortable analyzing experimental data in Excel or specialized software.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written; Swedish is a plus.
