Business Intelligence Developer

NCAB is a leading global PCB supplier founded in 1993, currently 600 persons working together in 15 companies all around the world. We are now looking for a BI Developer to lay the foundation and build up the BI and Analytics capability part of our ongoing digital transformation.

Data plays a vital part in NCAB's business strategy moving forward, both to improve our traditional reporting, ad-hoc analysis and in the future develop predictive models. We truly believe that data will be a main driver to strengthen our competitive advantage, both by guiding our strategic direction as well as enabling better decision making for our people in their day-to-day job.  

To support our data driven future we are building a BI and analytics capability from scratch. We have recently started an initiative to develop a data platform using the latest technology in Azure. We are now looking for a BI Developer that will play an important role in shaping and realising these plans. To succeed in the role, you have an analytical mindset with an ability to find simple solutions to complex business problems.

• Work with data from source system to visualization
• Setup and optimize data pipelines
• Develop and maintain data models
• Work together with business stakeholders, BI- and solution architects (CRM, ERP) to secure end-to-end solutions
• Develop reports and visualization
• Perform ad-hoc analysis
• Educate/support business stakeholder in report development

The role is based in the headquarter in Stockholm (Sundbyberg). Hybrid work is possible, depending on the needs and tasks. The role can include travelling to our offices around the world.

To take on the role you need to have experience from working as a BI developer for a couple of years. You have knowledge in developing data warehousing solutions as well as working in front end-analysis tools (e.g. Power BI). It's considered a plus if you are familiar with Azure Analytics platform (e.g. Azure data lake, Synapse, Serverless SQL, Power BI).
