Job Description

The Director Solution Operations is a key leader responsible for securing, delivering, and continuously improving standardized solutions across Europe.

This role ensures high compliance, secure operations, and effective support for Securitas country delivery teams. The Director will lead, inspire, and develop a team of highly skilled experts whose primary mission is to support and relieve Securitas local delivery and operations teams, enabling them to focus on delivering compliant, secure, and efficient product operations.

The Director will play a pivotal role in translating highly technical information into actionable insights for executive management, and will be a visible champion of change, not afraid to challenge the status quo or change course when needed.

As part of the Standardized Offering, the Director Solution Operations is responsible for platforms, infrastructure, and technical support to countries. The role leads a team of 6 system and product experts, works closely with local teams in 30 countries and acts as the technical adviser to solution owners.

  • Lead and develop a team of six experts dedicated to supporting local delivery and operations teams, enabling compliant, secure, and efficient product operations.
  • Set a clear vision and foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Balance strategic vision with operational detail, ensuring alignment with organisational goals while addressing day-to-day challenges.
  • Empower the team to proactively identify and resolve operational issues, acting as trusted partners to local stakeholders.
  • Champion change by challenging existing practices and driving innovation to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure global standardisation and high-quality service delivery in partnership with country stakeholders.
  • Oversee rollout of standardised offerings to new countries, ensuring readiness and compliance.
  • Collaborate across central and local teams to achieve operational excellence and seamless execution.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, actionable recommendations for executives and business stakeholders.
  • Drive optimisation by identifying opportunities to improve processes, tools, and team performance.
  • Manage an ecosystem of in-country technical solution owners and experts, promoting knowledge sharing and best practice adoption.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on platform performance and service quality.
  • Model integrity, resilience, and adaptability, inspiring confidence and trust across all organisational levels.

  • Platform uptime & compliance level

  • Year-on-year efficiency improvement

Success would be:

  • In-country operations and delivery teams are compliant and efficient.
  • Providing Centralised tools to relieve country teams, enabling efficient and secure product management.
  • The central operations team is high-performing, motivated, and collaborative.
  • Executive management and non-technical stakeholders are well-informed and empowered to make decisions based on clear, actionable technical insights.
  • Continuous improvement initiatives are embedded in the team culture, with measurable impact on efficiency and quality.
  • The Director is recognised as a change agent, able to pivot quickly and guide teams through transformation.

Qualifications

Key Competencies and Experience:

  • Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to build, motivate, and guide expert teams toward ambitious goals.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with attention to operational detail, ensuring alignment between vision and execution.
  • Track record of driving organisational change, transformation, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading geographically dispersed or cross-functional operations teams.
  • At least 3 years of management experience, leading technical or operations teams.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Securitas or a similar multinational environment, with strong knowledge of IT, solutions, and protective services.
  • Proven experience in incident management and Cyber/IT operations.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Familiarity with standardised offerings is an advantage.

Location: Securitas Malmö Office (expected min. 3 days a week)

Travel: Moderate, within Europe

Language: Swedish & English (fluent, spoken and written)
