We are recruiting a
Sales Director
to manage our Sales and Commercial team in Sweden. This is an office-base role that will work out of our Hyllie (Malmo) site with some travel involved.

What will you be doing in this role?
The Sales Director is a key position within Tunstall Sweden and reports into the Nordics Managing Director. As our Sales Director you will lead, coach and motivate a team to drive high performance and ensure delivery against agreed revenue targets. You will continuously look to review our processes and implement changes, improvements and other measures needed to grow the company's sales and ensure profitable and sustainable growth.

The Ideal candidate:
You will have experience of managing sales / commercial teams, in target-driven sales environments and have proven strategic sales experience with a strong focus on relationship management. You will have led from the front and be happy managing a team to deliver as well as managing customers.

Experience of selling services or products into municipalities or other public sector organisations is vital to success in this role.

Key skills and experience:

  • Background as Sales Manager or Director with a proven track record of success and delivering results,
  • Proven experience of selling services or products into municipalities or other public sector organisations,
  • Considerable leadership experience with full responsibility for a team, and with demonstrable success of coaching and managing high performing teams,
  • Ability to interact and collaborate cross functionally to help identify and create opportunities to improve ways of working or drive business development,
  • Be adaptable and open to change, continuously looking at ways to improve,
  • An effective communicator, both verbally and written,with excellent inter-personal skills,
  • Leads by example, demonstrates accountabilitly and owns delivery of results,
  • Strategic ability and business thinking, with strong commercial acumen,
  • Good understanding of technology and interest in continual learning to keep abreast of new innovations and ideas,
  • Ability to prioritise and execute in a complex environment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain and develop the company's various sales channels,
  • Plan, structure, implement and follow up the company's sales strategy and together with the Finance Director and the Managing Director prepare and agree a budget,
  • Deliver operational sales development and coaching,
  • Set and communicate sales goals/KPIs per salesperson,
  • Follow up and evaluate sales and profitability,
  • Support team through complex and extensive final negotiations or visits to help them grow and drive success.
  • Own and manage to conclusion any disputes or other situations together with the Senior Development Manager and finance,
  • Help and work with team to plan with marketing for trade fairs, events to ensure Tunstall brand is promoted consistently and participate as required,
  • Analyse and evaluate business opportunities and challenges to help grow market share or revenue generated,
  • Identify new needs and demand from the market and liaise with relevant teams internally to help us innovate our products and services,
  • Work and input into strategies around new segments.
