We combine cutting-edge technology with a deep scientific foundation — and we're looking for a motivated and curious Technical Sales Representative to join our team covering Sweden and Denmark.
Responsibilities:
About the role:
As a Technical Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for developing and supporting customers across Sweden and Denmark. You'll represent Anton Paar's advanced portfolio of scientific instrumentation, build strong customer relationships, and identify solutions that help researchers and engineers achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand customer relationships within your assigned territory (Sweden & Denmark).
- Proactively build, maintain, and develop a strong sales pipeline through systematic lead generation and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system to ensure transparency, forecasting accuracy, and customer history tracking.
- Identify new opportunities and provide tailored technical and application-based solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for customers and partners.
- Prepare and manage quotations, tenders, and commercial offers, ensuring timely and professional communication with customers.
- Collaborate closely with our technical and service teams to ensure excellent customer support and project execution.
- Report on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to help shape regional sales strategies.
Your profile:
- A scientific or technical background (MSc or PhD preferred) in physics, chemistry, materials science, engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, application support, or a relevant research role. Knowledge of analytical instruments is a strong advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to translate complex technical topics into clear customer value.
- Independent, driven, curious, and eager to learn — with a long-term mindset.
- Fluent in Swedish and English; additionally Danish is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Sweden and Denmark.
- Valid drivers license
