The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support marketing, and analytics use cases within a Customer Data Platform (CDP), specifically Treasure Data. The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams to ensure data quality, enable personalization, and drive data-driven decision-making.

Area of Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and ensure consistency across systems.
  • Support marketing and analytics teams in leveraging CDP capabilities, especially within Treasure Data.
  • Develop and maintain data models for reporting, segmentation, and personalization.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and deployments.
  • Monitor and optimize workflows using orchestration tools such as DigDag.
  • Perform advanced SQL queries for data validation, transformation, and analysis.
  • Efficiently manage and query large-scale datasets using Snowflake.
  • Ensure integration of Treasure Data CDP with marketing platforms and data pipelines

Knowledge / Experience

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., DigDag, DBT, Airflow).
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration best practices.
  • Knowledge of data modeling techniques for operational and analytical use cases.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices in data engineering (e.g., Git, dbt Cloud).
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
  • Understanding of Treasure Data CDP and its ecosystem.
  • Experience in marketing or customer data environments.
  • Awareness of data governance, lineage, and observability tools
