Are you an experienced IT leader with a passion for driving business value through digital platforms and applications? We are looking for a Director Group Applications & Digital Platforms to join our Group IT management team and play a key role in shaping the future of our IT landscape.

The Opportunity

In this pivotal role, you will lead the Group IT Applications and Digital Platforms function, overseeing a portfolio of applications such as ERP, CRM, PLM, WMS, e-commerce, PIM, and data foundation, used across the Group. You will be responsible for both the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of application management and support, ensuring our platforms deliver maximum value to the business. You will report directly to the Group CIO, be part of the Group IT Management Team, and you will in addition run your own management team for your department.

As part of a recent IT reorganization, you will also act as a bridge between IT and one of the Group's business areas, ensuring that IT investments align with business needs and drive tangible results.

Key Responsibilities

·      Lead application management for the department Group shared applications (ERP, PLM, e-commerce, data, CRM, PIM, WMS, Brand sites, etc.)

·      Oversee application support and ensure high service levels.

·      Manage supplier relationships and foster effective cooperation.

·      Take full budget responsibility for your area and work with cost optimization.

·      Lead, develop, and inspire a team of 20+ employees and consultants, including group managers.

·      Act as a key liaison between IT and one business area, supporting their requirements, driving change management, and ensuring transparency in IT delivery.

About You

You are a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, comfortable navigating both high-level planning and operational execution. You have a strong business acumen and the ability to translate IT opportunities into business value. You thrive in a collaborative environment, are an effective communicator, and have a proven ability to lead and inspire teams through change.

Qualifications and experiences:

·      Several years of leadership experience within IT, with responsibility for software/application management.

·      Experience as a manager of managers, with your own leadership team, and participation in a larger management team.

·      Demonstrated ability to work strategically while also being operationally involved ("doer" mentality).

·      Strong knowledge of enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, PLM, e-commerce, and data platforms.

·      Proven experience in budget responsibility and supplier management.

·      Experience working closely with business units to ensure IT solutions meet business needs.

·      Excellent communication and change management skills.

·      Relevant academic degree or equivalent experience.
