Director / Senior Manager to Deal Advisory – Corporate Finance/ M&A (Malmö, Gothenburg)

KPMG Deal Advisory in Sweden employs over 200 enthusiastic professionals with diverse academic backgrounds and is a leading provider of M&A services both in Sweden and globally. We are expanding and seeking a Director or Senior Manager with experience from a client facing role in a similar position who is interested in continuing to build a strong business case in around M&A in a deals-oriented environment.
Our services cover mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, valuation services, capital markets advice and restructuring. As one of the leading Deal Advisory businesses in Sweden, we have advised on a number of the largest transactions within the Swedish and Nordic marketplace with large corporates, private equity and government clients.

Our team in Malmö and Gothenburg comprise approx. 20 experts and is a fully integrated part of KPMG Deal Advisory. The Deal Advisory South & West team has a full-service offering, supporting Swedish and global clients with M&A Advisory, Transaction Services as well as Valuation. Due to our strong ambition within M&A, we are looking for a Director or Senior Manager specializing in M&A.

About Us And The Role
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) involves advising companies on buying, selling, and merging businesses, including valuation, financial analysis, due diligence, and deal execution. The work combines strategic, financial, and operational perspectives to help clients make informed investment decisions.

Directors/Senior Managers are expected to originate new business, lead complex transactions, oversee multidisciplinary deal teams as well as manage client relationships at senior levels,. They drive project delivery quality, provide technical and strategic guidance, develop junior staff, and contribute to commercial growth through proposal work, networking, and market development.A key part of the role is origination—proactively identifying deal opportunities, leveraging a strong personal network, and cultivating long-term relationships with CEOs, CFOs, owners, private equity firms, and other market participants.

You are also expected to contribute to the promotion of other Deal Advisory services to the clients you work with.. The position is either based in Malmö or Gothenburg.

To be successful in this role, we believe that you have

• Applicants with 5-10 years of experience in financial due diligence or other roles with direct exposure to M&A transactions
• An analytical and critical mind-set
• Experience from leading projects and mentoring junior team members
• Business development mindset and ability to build internal and external networks
• An entrepreneurial drive and who are open for new challenges
• Excellent verbal and writing skills in English
• Good collaboration skills
