Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Tax Accountant for a 6-month consulting assignment with potential extension. You will manage tax and VAT returns across multiple countries, support month-end closings, handle tax reporting, and liaise with authorities and auditors. This role offers exposure to complex international tax regulations within a professional financial environment.

You will:

  • Prepare and review income tax and VAT returns in multiple countries
  • Support tax-related reporting and month-end closings
  • Communicate with tax authorities, external advisors, and auditors
  • Execute tax and VAT payments and perform VAT controls
  • Handle VAT, transfer pricing, and other specific tax matters

Qualifications:

  • Academic degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a similar field
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience within tax and VAT, ideally with an international group or large consulting firm
  • Strong knowledge of Swedish corporate income tax, VAT, and transfer pricing regulations; experience within the financial sector is a significant advantage
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, consolidated reporting standards, and the ability to interpret financial statements
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively internally and externally
  • A detail-oriented and analytical mindset, combined with a proactive and solution-driven work style
