Job Description

About the Role
As Operational Accounting Manager at Nordberg Medical, you will play a key role in managing and developing the company's financial structure to support growth and scalability. You will lead and develop the Accounting team consisting of two Financial Accountants, and be part of a broader Finance organization that also includes three Controllers and the CFO, to whom you will report.

You will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting and compliance across multiple entities, consolidating group accounts, and serving as the main in-house accounting resource, locally and globally.

This is a hands-on and operational role that combines traditional accounting with continuous process improvement in a dynamic, fast-growing international environment.

Key Responsibilitie


• Lead, distribute, and develop the daily work of the Accounting team.

• Manage accounting for the parent company and two subsidiaries, including consolidation and group reporting.

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.

• Prepare, review, and process customer and business partner invoices.

• Handle VAT, tax declarations, and annual financial statements in accordance with Swedish accounting standards (K3).

• Book and reconcile payroll files in collaboration with HR and external payroll providers.

• Develop and analyze monthly financial reports, providing clear insights and information to management.

• Lead and implement improvements in reporting structures and accounting processes to ensure compliance and scalability.

• Act as the main point of contact for employees regarding invoices and expenses.

• Liaise with external accounting partners, auditors, and authorities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Project manage new entity setups and business expansions within the group.

• Support the transition to and implementation of new financial systems and tools.
