The Role

Engelbert is looking for a Financial and Operational Manager to join our team in Stockholm

full-time. In this role, you will take the overall responsibility for the finance function. You will

own the P&L, balance sheet and Chas-flow models that steer our growth. The role is both

strategic and hands-on with day-to-day operations. You will work closely with our CEO and

board of directors to translate strategy into clear budgets, KPIs and scenario analysis. The

role is based at our Stockholm head oDice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day accounting and financial reporting
  • Liquidity planning and cash flow management
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and financial follow-up
  • Reporting of key financial metrics and insights to management and the board
  • Responsibility for monthly and annual closings, including tax declarations
  • Analyzing trends, providing data to support purchasing planning and cash flow analysis
  • Responsibility for all inventory management and work closely with the internal partners with stock planning and margin analysis
  • Liaison with external partners including auditors, authorities, and banks
  • Payroll administration and general HR-related financial tasks

Qualifications

  • Relevant university degree in finance, accounting, or similar field
  • Several years of experience in a financial role
  • Solid knowledge of both operational accounting and strategic financial management
  • Strong understanding of inventory and its impact on cash flow
  • Hands-on, structured, and proactive approach
  • Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English
  • Experience from the retail and/or e-commerce sector is a plus
