About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated HR Business Partner to join our team at ABB Schweiz AG. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting our business leaders and employees in the Energy Industries division.

Your primary responsibility will be to serve as a strategic partner to our people leaders, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters. You will be responsible for implementing HR strategies and plans, representing HR in the wider business, and driving HR-related activities such as annual salary reviews, people reviews, succession planning, and performance development appraisals.

You will also be responsible for labor relations matters within your area of responsibility and will work closely with our HR team to implement our new HR tool, Workday.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Implement HR strategies and plans related to the organization.
  2. Represent HR in the wider business, establishing strong relationships with leaders by providing assistance and guidance in HR matters.
  3. Drive and be a part of typical HR-related activities such as annual salary reviews, people reviews, succession planning, performance development appraisals, and engagement surveys.
  4. Be responsible for labor relations matters within area of responsibility.
  5. Work closely with our HR team to implement our new HR tool, Workday.
Requirements
  • We are looking for someone with an academic degree and approximately 5 years of experience in a broad HR role.
  • You have experience in building long-term relationships with key stakeholders such as business managers, union representatives, and external partners.
  • As a person, you achieve results through curiosity and collaboration with others and show a genuine interest in the business and our customers.
  • It is important that you are willing to take initiative, have a coaching approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to inspire and build trust.
  • You are fluent in Swedish and English.
