As a Senior HSE Professional at Hitachi Energy's High Voltage Products team, you contribute to the enhancement of power network safety, reliability, and efficiency. Your work enables developments in ultra-high-voltage power transmission, smart grids, and eco-efficiency.

The High Power Laboratory serves as a unique test facility for high voltage products, focusing on health and safety. This role comes with great responsibility and offers opportunities to develop your skills and build professional networks within the global organization and HSE community.

Key Accountabilities

  • As an integral member of the Lab Management Team, you will represent the lab in HSE forums and collaborate with the global laboratory organization.
  • Develop and maintain the HSE part of the Lab management system.
  • Own and lead HSE-related projects and initiatives with close collaboration with the Global and High Voltage HSE community.
  • Ensure compliance with local HSE legal requirements and provide regular updates on objectives and progress to milestones and HSE KPIs.
  • Carry out HSE audits and inspections, ensuring timely corrective actions are implemented.
  • Evaluate site-specific HSE risks and challenges and develop risk reduction strategies, including risk assessments.
  • Participate in or lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions based on findings.

About You

  • A bachelor's degree and extensive experience in relevant fields, preferably from an international company.
  • Possess expertise in multiple safety areas, especially electrical experience.
  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and the ability to foster a positive team environment.
  • A highly driven and organized individual who excels in their role.
  • Excellent English and Swedish communication skills.
