We are seeking a highly skilled Patent Administrator to join our team at Sandvik Group. As a key member of our Intellectual Property (IP) department, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and integrating patent operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure accurate and timely administrative services in the field of patent administration, in accordance with business needs.
- Handle administration correspondence and documentation within the patent organization, including R&D, other units, and external partners.
- Work with in-house patenting operations in Europe, USA, and India, identifying, handling, and resolving various formality issues and matters.
- Act as an intermediary between external law firms and in-house patent attorneys and engineers, filing patent applications and responses at patent offices, and managing formal documents.
- Develop and implement new or improved ways of working for the team, ensuring high availability and accuracy of patent portfolio data.
- Strong understanding of patent administration and experience from IP or law, preferably in an IP law firm, corporate IP department, or national patent authority.
- Experience in filing and prosecution, communication, and payments in regard of EPO, WIPO, and other IP authorities.
- Skills in Office 365 applications and communication tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global team.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
