Senior Network Operations Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Operations Engineer to join our team at Autoliv. As a key member of our Network Services team, you will be responsible for supporting operations activities on computer networks, including LANs, WANs, WLANs, intranets, extranets, network security, and other data communications systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximize network services performance by monitoring system availability and performance.
- Successfully operate Network Services by maintaining affected systems, backups, scheduling upgrades, and executing approved changes.
- Troubleshoot issues, provide effective workarounds, and contribute to finding permanent fixes.
- Participate in establishing networking environments in new or existing Autoliv locations, following standard procedures.
- Lead and assist in installing network systems at LAN level (Core, Distribution, Access Switches configurations) at a global level.
- Lead and assist in deploying global solutions, such as ISE and WLAN, at a divisional level.
- Lead, coordinate, and implement TTU/LAN migrations, as well as participate in other WAN support activities when required.
- Document and maintain run books and operations documents for transitioned network services, enforcing systems standards and providing feedback to improve these standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies or Engineering, or relevant industry certifications, or a minimum of 10 years' equivalent experience in Network Administration (route/switching).
- Senior-level networking experience, with expertise in architecting and designing WAN/LAN/WLAN networks, and proficiency in routing/switching, WLAN technologies.
- Experience working for a Global and/or Enterprise Company.
- Relevant industry certifications are a plus (CCNA/CCNP or equivalent experience).
