Job Title: Critical Environment Technical Trainer

Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Critical Environment Technical Trainer to join our Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) Learning team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering technical training to our Critical Environment technicians, ensuring they have the necessary skills to operate and maintain our datacenters.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver high-quality training programs to Critical Environment technicians, focusing on cloud infrastructure, datacenter operations, and technical skills.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training content that meets the needs of our technicians and aligns with Microsoft's cloud infrastructure goals.
  • Design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and labs to ensure our technicians have the necessary skills to operate and maintain our datacenters.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making recommendations for improvement and ensuring compliance with Microsoft's training standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including datacenter teams, IT departments, and other business units.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in technical training, datacenter operations, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our technicians.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience in cloud infrastructure, datacenter operations, or a related field.
  • Experience with training delivery and readiness operations, or demonstrated project management skills.
  • Analysis and writing skills, with the ability to diagnose or represent training data and anecdotal feedback in meaningful ways.
  • Operational planning and project management skills, with a bias for execution.
