The Role

We're seeking a Field Technical Engineer to join our Abbott Electrophysiology Division in Sweden. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing expert technical support and guidance to our clients. Your primary focus will be on attending implants, follow-ups, and resolving issues related to high-voltage and low-voltage stimulation devices.

Responsibilities

- Provide clinical consultation, teaching, and support on the use of our products and their appropriate application in clinical settings.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of current and new therapies and technologies within the therapy area, including competitor devices, as well as a general understanding of the country's healthcare market dynamics.
- Offer technical assistance to the EP salesforce.
- Conduct product presentations and perform stand duty at exhibitions when requested, responding to technical questions from customers and EMEA teams.

Qualifications

- A university degree in biomedical engineering or a related scientific field.
- Ideally, experience in electrophysiology/cardiac rhythm management or equivalent clinical expertise.
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology would be highly valued.
- Strong command of English and Swedish (both written and spoken).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer focus.
- Ability to travel extensively and work independently.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
