Hydrotech operates under the umbrella of Veolia Water Technologies, a worldwide frontrunner in water and wastewater management solutions, employing over 8000 individuals and continuously expanding. Veolia Water Technologies boasts more than 80 subsidiaries globally. Together, we share a commitment and strive daily to enhance the quality of drinking and wastewater for communities around the globe. At Hydrotech, our team consists of approximately 70 members, with our operations based in Vellinge, near Malmö.

As International Product Strategist...

You will have the chance to shape a new position for Hydrotech. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and implement product strategies for future prospects within a global organization.

Key responsibilities as International Product Strategist:

Product roadmap – Formulate, align, and oversee the execution of the product roadmap, which includes launching new products and expanding existing offerings into new applications. Market analysis – Conduct research to comprehend market dynamics, value propositions, and product competitiveness. Cross-departmental collaboration and stakeholder engagement – Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key clients to ensure effective product planning and launches. Partnering with R&D – Propel product innovation and differentiation.

You can anticipate a senior role where you will lead your initiatives and have ample opportunities for personal and professional growth. You will be part of our local development team and will collaborate closely with colleagues worldwide. This position does not entail direct management of staff.

Travel commitments will be approximately 20% of your working time.

You are a results-driven relationship builder...

and you possess experience in product management, overseeing a product line, or a comparable role. We believe you have experience working within a global and matrixed organization, preferably with technical solutions and products.

While our water treatment solutions may appear complex, the focus of this role (in terms of expertise) is on owning and advancing Hydrotech's products and solutions for water treatment. We expect you to have a solid understanding and genuine interest in technology, along with the ability to lead projects and effectively communicate and engage with those around you.

To excel in this role, we anticipate you to be results-oriented, demonstrate a strong initiative, and earn the trust of your communication partners. We believe you will thrive in a position that combines stakeholder interaction with a focus on technology.

About Hydrotech

Originating as a small enterprise in Vellinge, southern Sweden, we are now represented in numerous countries worldwide through a network of professional partners. In 2004, Hydrotech became part of the French group Veolia, one of the largest global companies focused on various solutions for water and wastewater management.

We have delivered numerous filters globally and are recognized as the market leader in our product range. Approximately 70 individuals are employed at Hydrotech, and we take pride in stating that all our filters are of Swedish origin and manufactured in our own facility in Vellinge.
