Key Responsibilities:- Product Safety Strategy Development: Create and enforce effective product safety mitigation strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regional and international product safety and sustainability regulations.
- Risk Assessment and Management: Lead and participate in product safety and compliance risk assessments to identify and address potential risks, and develop and implement product testing processes to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Incident Investigation and Analysis: Support and engage in investigations and analyses of product safety incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs for internal teams on product safety and sustainability protocols and procedures to ensure a culture of safety and compliance.
- Compliance and Regulatory Management: Maintain ongoing compliance with regional and international product safety and sustainability regulations, and stay up-to-date on global safety and sustainability regulations and standards.
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in product safety management, including familiarity with machinery directives and product safety standards in the mining industry.
- Skills and Knowledge: Strong understanding of product development processes, materials, manufacturing methods, and best practices in safety and sustainability, as well as in-depth knowledge of the latest Machinery Directive and relevant standards.
