Data Protection Specialist for BA Wind

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Specialist to join our Risk, Project and Legal Governance department at Vattenfall. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in defining and establishing data protection standards across our Business Area Wind.
Key Responsibilities- Advise Business Area Wind on GDPR compliance and other data protection laws.
- Develop and implement a privacy control framework for our organization.
- Monitor and report compliance with data protection legislation.
- Investigate data protection breaches and undertake remedial action as needed.
- Manage data subject requests and establish data protection agreements.
- Provide advice on mitigating risks around data protection processing activities.
Our Risk, Project and Legal Governance department is responsible for supporting strategy execution through robust frameworks for decision making, management of risks and uncertainties, compliance and legal governance. We are a dynamic team that thrives on solving complex challenges in a complex stakeholder environment.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in law, compliance, corporate governance or a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a large international corporation in corporate governance or compliance.
- Deep understanding of GDPR and data protection in the UK and EU with at least 3 years of proven experience.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a structured way.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The possible locations for this position are Amsterdam, Hamburg, Hexham, London or Stockholm. Regular business trips are required.
