We are seeking a skilled Diagnostics and Calibration Professional for our client in the automotive sector

As a member of our client's agile team, you will focus on developing diagnostic methods for the aftermarket, creating and maintaining diagnostic specifications, and implementing test and calibration operations based on specifications.

To succeed in this role, you need a solid educational foundation in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar. At least 3 years of experience within diagnostics is also essential. If you have prior experience in the automotive industry, particularly in Aftermarket, it would be advantageous.

Key skills include exceptional communication and presentation skills, fluency in English (both spoken and written), and knowledge of CANoe/CANalyzer and Python programming language.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop diagnostic method information for aftermarket.
  • Create and maintain diagnostic specifications.
  • Develop test and calibration operations on vehicle and component level.
  • Assist in the development of new or changed functionality in various diagnostic tools.
  • Contribute to the development of a new data structure for future diagnostics content information.
  • Implement test and calibration operations based on specifications.
  • Analyze test results and address issue corrections.
  • Examine and approve new and modified specifications.
  • Test the implemented method/operation and detect bugs.
  • Verify the implemented method/operation.
  • Ensure adherence to good design practices.

Essential Requirements:

  • A solid educational background in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
  • At least 3 years of experience within diagnostics.
  • Prior experience in the automotive industry, especially in Aftermarket.
  • Agile way of working - SAFe.
  • Familiarity with working in an international environment.
  • Expertise in machine learning is a plus.
