Job Title: Head of Tax Insurance Nordics

Marsh's Nordic Transactional Risk Insurance practice is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced M&A tax professional to join our team as the Head of Tax Insurance Nordics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop our tax insurance practice in the Nordic region, working closely with tax advisors, M&A lawyers, private equity firms, real estate funds, institutional investors, and corporate clients.
  • Structure, negotiate, and place tax insurance solutions on behalf of Marsh's clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Generate new business opportunities through active networking, identifying leads, and pitching our services.
  • Collaborate with the broader Private Equity and M&A (PEMA) team in the Nordics and Marsh's European Tax Insurance team to share best practices and drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in M&A tax advisory, with client-facing experience practicing M&A tax law and a proven ability to develop tax-related business.
  • Good network among the tax, legal, and business community.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with senior-level professionals.
  • Strong technical expertise in M&A tax, preferably including an understanding of tax liability insurance and other transactional risk products such as warranty & indemnity (W&I) insurance.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to grow and develop a practice.
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in one or more Nordic languages (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian) preferred.
