Job Title: Corporate Accountant Nordics

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Accountant to join our team at Wella in the Nordics region. As a key member of our finance team, you will provide accounting, compliance, tax, and treasury advisory support to our operating legal entities in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of the balance sheet, including account reconciliations, analysis, and preparing correcting journals.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities by preparing journals, analytical reviews, and addressing accounting questions.
  • Ensure timely reporting and collaborate with the SSC team.
  • Support preparation of group reporting packages and ad-hoc accounting position papers.
  • Prepare weekly liquidity forecasts and support statutory financial statements in local GAAP, including corporate income tax calculations.
  • Support internal control testing and monitoring of compliance with formal group controls and management controls.
  • Provide accounting administrative support and training as needed.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing audit schedules, support, and responding to inquiries.
  • Prepare and review direct and indirect tax preparations, and monitor tax compliance obligations.
Your Profile:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a strong background in accounting and finance. You should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and at least 2 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis. Proven knowledge and experience with applicable tax accounting principles in relation to US/local GAAP are required. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Experience with SAP is preferred.
