We are seeking an experienced Head of HR - North and Central Europe to join our leadership team. This role will play a critical part in driving our human capital strategy, ensuring that our workforce is aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support key HR business processes: talent review and succession planning, career management and development, performance management, and talent acquisition.
  • Execute the Global Forwarding HR strategy and solutions to support short-term and long-term business goals.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing by validating employee data, establishing authorisation and approval processes, adhering to regulations, implementing segregation of duties, reconciling records, and maintaining clear communication with employees.
  • Partner with People Leaders to steward complex workplace investigations & grievances.
  • Provide commercially astute advice and recommendations to leaders on business drivers and metrics.
  • Interpret and advise on legislation and Toll Policies, Standards & Procedures to ensure compliance and resolution of employee relations matters.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Extensive Generalist Human Resources experience and local HR knowledge of the Nordic region.
  • Bachelor's level in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law or a business-related discipline.
  • Applying a commercial focus to advise and make recommendations to the business.
  • Demonstrate a collaborative nature - seeks to improve overall Toll business results.
  • Proven recruitment skills including behavioural based interviewing.
  • Proficient with HRIS systems (e.g. Workday) & Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Proficient in English and ideally a second/third language (e.g. German, Swedish, Danish or Polish).
