Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Oversee the commissioning, coordination, and optimization of production processes to ensure efficient and high-quality output.
- Team Leadership: Supervise a team of skilled workers, ensuring their adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage budgets, resources, and equipment to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process, minimizing downtime and maintaining consistent output.
- Safety and Quality: Develop and maintain a robust safety culture, ensuring a safe work environment and adhering to industry regulations and standards.
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the organization in achieving strategic goals and objectives, setting clear organizational goals, and monitoring progress.
- Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with functional and operational leaders to understand current and future needs, develop plans, cost estimates, and schedules.
Requirements:
- Education: Relevant degree in engineering or relevant industry experience.
- Experience: Experience in process, production, or maintenance, with demonstrated leadership experience in industrial manufacturing organizations.
- Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation mill systems, proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and projects, and experience in supporting ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
- Personal Qualities: Exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, demonstrated ability to drive innovation and advancement, and ability to work in a high-profile and often pressured international environment.
