Job Title: Hot & Cold Roll Shops Manager (f/m/x)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Hot & Cold Roll Shops Manager. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the smooth operation of our Roll Shops. This includes leading dedicated planning and maintenance execution teams, ensuring operational excellence, and managing proactive and reactive repair procedures related to roll shops and associated parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead planning and maintenance execution teams to ensure operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement proactive and reactive repair procedures for roll shops and associated parts.
  • Collaborate with client operations and maintenance department counterparts to ensure compliance.
  • Manage operational budgets and create periodic reports on workshop and personnel performance.
  • Establish and maintain operational excellence standards of safety in the workplace.

Requirements:

  • Graduate Engineer in mechanical engineering with commercial knowledge or background.
  • Significant work experience in the steel making industry (casting and rolling preferable) or comparable role.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining assets and resources.
  • Independent and methodical approach to work.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in MS Office and SAP/ERP system.
  • Sound knowledge of English, both verbal and written; German language skills would be an asset.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and develop new skills as required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
