We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Retail Expansion Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our retail expansion initiatives. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, finance, and economics, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for developing and implementing investment, cost management, and follow-up processes, as well as providing guidance to countries and group stakeholders on business cases and investment requests.

The successful candidate will possess:
  • Extensive knowledge of business case creation and calculations, particularly related to the financial dimension.
  • Experience in creating and reviewing investment requests to support informed decision-making bodies, while considering both benefits and risks.
  • Strong proficiency in working with data applications, such as Power BI, Microsoft Office, and understanding of financial reporting within Ingka.
  • A business understanding of our omnichannel reality and its implications on investment request creation and follow-up.
  • Familiarity with the Ingka Expansion process and investments into Real Estate assets is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
  • Develop and implement investment, cost management, and follow-up processes to ensure successful and profitable retail expansion.
  • Provide guidance to countries and group stakeholders on business cases and investment requests.
  • Coordinate and administer the investment process of expansion projects and activities.
  • Develop and follow up consolidated retail expansion business cases in new and existing markets.
  • Ensure connectivity between follow-up, investment approvals and portfolio management to enable end-to-end KPIs to measure performance.
