About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Officer to lead our sales and marketing efforts. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategies to enhance customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis: Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform our commercial strategy.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, alliances, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Revenue Generation: Achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability through pricing strategies, sales forecasting, and identifying new revenue streams.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Hands-on Approach: Take a hands-on approach to driving the sales and marketing team, working as a specialist sales, business developer, or commercial product manager.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience of delivering above-average revenue growth and expansion in a scale-up environment.
  • Experience of working in a mixed software and consulting environment.
  • Competent user of data analytics to validate decisions and strategy.
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to lead change and take others with you.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
