Medical Science Liaison Dermatology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our team in Sweden. As an MSL, you will be the field-based scientific expert within the Immunology team, focusing on dermatology. Your primary responsibility will be to provide scientific discussions, presentations, and responses to unsolicited questions, as well as participate in (pre-)launch activities and congresses.
Your core content will include topics of unmet medical needs that are of scientific/developmental importance to UCB in dermatology and immunology. You will also be involved in feasibility processes around new clinical studies and serve as the primary contact person for investigators interested in investigator-initiated research, donations, grants, and developing and executing the medical content of the local ecosystem plan.
Key Responsibilities- Agile and proactive identification and management of key scientific and medical influencers based on local ecosystem dynamics.
- Exploration and identification of new sources of patient value (innovative solutions and services) by placing the holistic disease burden of people suffering from chronic immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs) high on healthcare's agenda.
- Manage and generate product/disease state data (Phase III/IV, IIS, audits, Real World Evidence, etc.).
- Support clinical studies, clinical development, and share insights with the R&D team.
- Serve as the leading local scientific expert for UCB in the therapy area.
- Present RWE/HEOR/clinical information to regional payer accounts and formularies.
- Design and execute the local ecosystem's medical plan.
- PhD in Immunology/Life Sciences is a big plus.
- Strong communication/presentation skills. Languages: Swedish and English written and spoken.
- Work experience as MSL is highly desirable. Launch experience is a huge advantage.
- Proven track record having worked with biologics within immunology, preferably Dermatology.
- Business acumen with a good understanding and holistic view of the healthcare ecosystem.
- Influencing skills by building trust, staying consistent, and being assertive in a considerate way.
- Great project management skills.
- Curiosity to learn and experiment with new digital initiatives.
