About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our team at UCB S.A. in the role of Dermatology MSL. As a key member of our Immunology team, you will be responsible for providing scientific expertise and support to healthcare professionals, researchers, and other stakeholders in the field of dermatology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide scientific discussions, presentations, and responses to unsolicited questions on topics related to unmet medical needs in dermatology and immunology.
  • Participate in (pre-)launch activities, congresses, and other events to promote our products and services.
  • Conduct feasibility processes for new clinical studies and serve as the primary contact person for investigators interested in investigator-initiated research, donations, grants, and ecosystem plans.
  • Build local medical plans, conduct advisory boards, and arrange scientific symposiums to advance our understanding of dermatological diseases and treatments.
  • Interact with national and international Thought Leaders (Key Opinion Leaders: KOLs), and other healthcare professionals (HCPs) at various phases of the product life cycle.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Immunology or a related field (strongly preferred).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in Swedish and English (written and spoken).
  • Work experience as an MSL is highly desirable, with launch experience being a significant advantage.
  • Proven track-record of working with biologics within immunology and dermatology.
  • Business acumen with a good understanding of the healthcare ecosystem.
  • Influencing skills, with the ability to build trust, stay consistent, and be assertive in a considerate manner.
  • Great project management skills and a curiosity to learn and experiment with new digital initiatives.
