About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Medical Science Liaison in Sweden at a patient-centric, entrepreneurial pharmaceutical company with high ethical standards.

The role is ideal for someone who values collaboration and enjoys working cross-functionally in a performance-driven team. You are a strong communicator who builds trustful and professional relationships both internally and externally. You have experience with, and knowledge of, the Swedish healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embed an ethical mindset, compliance, and good governance in all activities.
  • Provide medical affairs support to external customers and establish ongoing liaison with key stakeholders, especially Key External Experts, to ensure that significant field-based developments in the pain area are identified and monitored.
  • Act and be recognized as the company expert in the nominated therapeutic area and provide input to Sales, Marketing, and Market Access.
Strategic Objectives
  • Lead medical cluster area in coordination with the global medical affairs team.
  • Field-based support to achieve patient-driven company goals.
  • Identify key medical science information, market opportunities, and threats in the area of pain management, inspired by contacts/needs assessments with healthcare professionals and other external stakeholders, and provide relevant feedback to the management team to help appropriate strategic decision-making.
Requirements
  • MD or bachelor's degree in health sciences or related discipline with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in presenting data in a hospital or other function.
  • Experience in Medical Affairs and/or Medical Information areas is a plus.
  • 3+ years' experience in the field-based pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Travel up to 50% to be expected.
