About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our team at UCB. As a key member of our Immunology team, you will be responsible for providing scientific expertise and support to healthcare professionals, researchers, and other stakeholders in the field of dermatology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, researchers, and other healthcare professionals in the field of dermatology.
  • Provide scientific expertise and support to healthcare professionals, researchers, and other stakeholders on UCB's immunology products and pipeline.
  • Conduct scientific discussions, presentations, and responses to unsolicited questions on UCB's immunology products and pipeline.
  • Participate in feasibility processes around new clinical studies and serve as the primary contact person for investigators interested in investigator-initiated research, donations, grants, and other initiatives.
  • Develop and execute the medical content of the local ecosystem plan, including building local medical plans, conducting advisory boards, and arranging scientific symposiums.
  • Manage and generate product/disease state data, including Phase III/IV, IIS, audits, Real World Evidence, and other relevant data.
  • Support clinical studies, clinical development, and share insights with the R&D team.
  • Present RWE/HEOR/clinical information to regional payer accounts and formularies.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Immunology/Life Sciences is a plus.
  • Strong communication/presentation skills, with proficiency in Swedish and English written and spoken.
  • Work experience as MSL is highly desirable, with launch experience being a significant advantage.
  • Proven track record of working with biologics within immunology, preferably in dermatology.
  • Business acumen with a good understanding and holistic view of the healthcare ecosystem.
  • Influencing skills, with the ability to build trust, stay consistent, and be assertive in a considerate way.
  • Great project management skills.
  • Curiosity to learn and experiment with new digital initiatives.
