About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Medical Advisor to join our Immunology team. As a Field Medical Advisor, you will be responsible for improving company product value by being a therapeutic area scientific expert, responsible for discussing products, patients' treatment trends, and studies in the Rheumatology area with a defined audience of Leading Specialists (Physicians, Pharmacists, Hospital Managers, Board Members of Scientific Societies, and other partners).
You will be a trusted scientific counterpart and partner, supporting the current marketed product and future launches of products within Rheumatology. This position will be based in Sweden and will report to the Therapeutic Area Medical Lead for Immunology & Neuroscience in Sweden.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a reference point for other functions for any scientific query.
- Coordinate and participate in medical education activities, e.g. identify, support, and educate speakers as well as build medical education programs with scientific third parties.
- Continuously update own knowledge of products, patient's treatment trends, clinical activities, and studies within the therapeutic area.
- Develop and maintain a contact network with leading specialists focusing on understanding their needs, key value drivers, and practical treatment patterns as well as championing the medical value of own products.
- Communicate medical scientific data to leading specialists and broader external healthcare-related audience both proactively and reactively.
- Collect insights from the therapeutic area through scientific interactions and provide strategic input to the medical affairs plan and business decision-making.
- Support and handle medical affairs clinical activities' strategy, planning, design, and execution.
- Conduct close collaboration with Global and Nordic Clinical Operations and CROs.
- Support Health Economics and Market Access Manager's (HEMAR) in medical matters.
- Improve the use of multi-channel communication and artificial intelligence implementation.
- Thorough cross-functional collaboration with the commercial- and marketing department.
- Medical Doctor or advanced university degree within Science or Pharmacy (required). PhD in life sciences is a merit.
- A minimum of 2 years proven industry- or hospital- experience in a medical, clinical or scientific role (preferred).
- Prior clinical and/or scientific expertise in Rheumatology (preferred). Prior experience in working with psoriasis arthritis is a merit.
- Strong presentation, communication, and engagement skills (required).
- The ability to understand, process, communicate and present scientific information (required).
- Proficient in Swedish & English language (required).
- Valid car driver's license and ability to travel (mostly during office hours) approximately 50% of your time (required).
