What You'll Do
- We partner with end-to-end account owners to drive solution-specific sales motions, bringing domain expertise to solve customer business challenges and grow their SAP footprint through renewal and expansion.
- We develop opportunity plans containing compelling solution value propositions, conduct White Space analysis to identify growth opportunities, and work with the wider account team on sales campaigns.
- We manage customer relationships at the solution area/buying center level, progress opportunities for move to cloud/expand footprint accounts or accounts that are new to the solution area, and leverage deep knowledge of how companies operate, business models, strategies, and end-to-end business processes.
- We stay informed about SAP's competition and value drivers, utilize SAP's comprehensive team of experts and industry knowledge to effectively address customer needs, build customer participation in relevant SAP communities, programs, and events, and facilitate collaboration with the partner ecosystem.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience selling Database, Data Management, Analytics, and/or Technology solutions to large Enterprises.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact at the CXO level, experience hunting for new business and expanding our business relationships in existing accounts.
- Hands-on knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Teradata, Informatica, MapR, Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, Cloudera, Hortonworks, or other associated data management technology, as well as business value and positioning of Platform as Service solutions like SAP BTP.
- The ability to forecast/manage sales cycles, successfully close new business, and possess proven problem-resolution, communication, planning & organizing, and execution skills.
- A proven track record of exceeding sales objectives and territory/account development, along with a Bachelor's Degree.
