Medical Device Marketing Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Product Manager to join our team in Lund, Sweden. As a member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the 5-year business strategy, driving new product development (NPD) projects, and managing the entire product life-cycle on a global level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Insights: Identify success drivers and unmet needs for strategy, research customer settings for product development, engage with key customers and sales reps.
- Market Insights: Analyze portfolio performance and monitor competitors, align with global marketing on trends.
- Business Insights: Assess portfolio profitability with finance.
- Portfolio Strategy: Design research to inform strategic plans and communicate with stakeholders, collaborate on marketing strategies.
- New Product Development (NPD): Lead marketing activities in NPD, develop business cases, and present phase exits, conduct VoC evaluations and manage pre-commercialization.
- Market Research: Research product ideas using CCD and VoC, summarizing findings into actionable insights.
- Forecasting / IBP: Create demand forecasts and collaborate with supply chain for demand-supply alignment.
- Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM): Manage product life cycle and develop transition strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 6+ years of work experience required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- MBA preferred.
- 3+ years medical device or marketing experience preferred.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines.
- Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority.
- Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
