Job Summary


We are seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to lead the delivery of data center projects for Microsoft’s Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, high-quality, and on-time delivery of data center projects while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors.


Responsibilities



  • Lead and manage data center construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to Microsoft’s quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project engineering, construction, and facilities management, to ensure alignment and effective project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and Microsoft’s policies and procedures.

Requirements



  • Minimum 8 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on data centers and large-scale projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on-time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
